ABOUT NICK DEGENNARO
Jacksonville based sculptor, Nick DeGennaro, has been using steel and cast iron to explore
patterns and geometry both in their pure forms and as they appear in the cosmos. He has a
sculptural bench installed at the University of North Florida, where he discovered his joy for
metal work and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture. He also contributed pieces for
the collaborative exhibition Jovian Treasures at the main branch of the Jacksonville Public
Library, and attended the 2017 Conference of Contemporary Cast Iron Art and Practices. He
currently works as a fabricator for Heritage Signs, working with steel and aluminum and helping
to shape the Jacksonville landscape.
